The sources and stories behind our pictures.
Editorial photographs are illustrative. Event listings use reviewed photographs of that event where available, or a date panel when no reusable image has been supplied. The event photograph credits below identify their original context and year; a photograph of a previous edition does not show the upcoming event. Community event photographs are supplied by the member publishing the listing, who must confirm permission to use them. Assets have been resized, compressed and may be cropped in the layout.
A relaxed Sunday meet
The homepage opening image is an illustration of Fred the Austin A35 van, a Mini, Morris Minor, MG roadster and classic motorcycles at an informal weekend owners’ gathering. It depicts an imagined scene, not a real event or a photograph of its attendees.
